Serenades and Subtle Things

Its been a while since I have written anything at all on this blog. I started this so I would have a complete escape from reality and get into writing. But turns out, being here pushes me to face what's real and maybe that's why I have avoided it since. Everyone goes through difficult times in life and sadly I'm not one to put a smile and pretend things are fine when they're not. I can't write anything good when something is bothering me.

However, today I have decided that things should change. My purpose now would not be an escape, but an outlet, therapy if you can call it that.

To start it off, I'd like to publish a good memory that I have. My vacation in the one place I wouldn't mind going back to again and again. This was my fourth time in Hong Kong and it topped the other three because I was with someone very important to me, Mr. RB Flores. We both have an eye for adventure. I believe that's why in the early days of our relationship, we bonded and grew so much since we both loved traveling and everything that went with it. We were together for 2 years when we went on this trip, both of us couldn't believe that we were actually going to Hong Kong, a place we only dreamed of visiting together. It was hard to fathom how we got to that place in our lives, and we couldn't be more thankful.

I would say that I'm pretty good and familiar with Hong Kong sceneries, where to eat, what to do, hole-in-the-wall places having stayed there for almost a month when I had my internship there. So we had absolutely no problem going around, and plus we went at the perfect winter season where we could dress up and walk around comfortably.

Here is a sneak peek of our Hong Kong experience, detailed posts to follow :)
